Terra update, base diffuse.



Did a quick extract on her body for the suit, just to see how well it holds up the extracting process. Kinda happy with how it held up but will look more into her overall outfit and see if I could redesign some of it. Still working on her face and looking into some expressions to match her character, also did a quick spotlight splat and polypaint smoothing...and that hair..want to leave that till the end but will tackle it later on.

Terra update.




Worked more on her anatomy and pose, gave her some quick hair just to cover up the baldness. Cant wait to make the hair..oh boy. Going to need to pick up the speed, deadline or not I still intend on completely finishing her.

Finally unwrapped and baked! Still playing around with the maps and a lot of fiddles in TB2. The interiors are also built but only to a basemesh stage.

OLA,I'll be going for Terra from Team Titans. First time joining for me and would be a good practice for me in the long run.
Loaded up a female base mesh, refined some areas and posed her pretty early...kinda regretting that but am getting use to no symmetry at this stage.

Underground tube station update.


Update on the environment piece I am currently working on. The train is pretty much complete in max, including the interior. Then I used them as a basemesh for zbrush to dynamesh, weld and polish.

Demon character [WIP]

Decided to go back to an old bust I started a while back and make a new character out of him , started with zspheres followed by dynamesh and zremesher for a quick basemesh to pull about. Then pretty much played afterwards.

Update! been a while


  
One big environment project and learned a lot from it, mostly on the "don't do it this way"....lack of planning or concept were the big uns. Apart from that I enjoyed making it and was a really good practice overall.

Next on the plate I get to make an underground scene (Blitz). Where people took refuge during the bombings in WW2. For this project I wanted to make my own textures, from sculpting in Zbrush to editing and finalizing in Photoshop. This process gave me a lot more control on the detail especially the normal map, I also used poly paint to get the base colors. The scale is off also and these textures aren't final.
